Kapolei is by far one of the fastest growing cities on Oahu. What started out as mostly industrial areas and fields, is now home to some of the biggest and best shops on island. With more and more homes popping up in Kapolei, which by the way is great for the carpet cleaning business, the need for more shops and places to eat is increasing all the time. Those needs have been met in full. There are so many great things to do out on that side of Oahu. There’s a go-kart track that’s loads of fun. Just recently, without a doubt the best movie theater on the island opened up. Regal Cinema had their grand opening recently in the Kapolei Commons. I have to say, this place is awesome! It is the first of its kind in the state. They offer big screens with amazing surround sound systems but that’s not the best part. Every theater is fully equipped with powered leather recliner theater style seating. It’s so comfortable in there, you don’t even realize how long the movie actually was. The food they serve was decent and the service was great. Pricing was also on par with other movie theaters. I felt you get more value here because of the extra luxuries. Overall, with its clean and friendly atmosphere it’s a great place to take the kids for a summer time movie. Kapolei is also full of so many great restaurants. The diversity ranges from local style plate lunches to Chinese restaurants, Italian style cuisine, and even authentic Mexican food. Kapolei has a restaurant to suit everyone’s tastes. The best part about Kapolei is still yet to come. On top of all the many great stores already in Kapolei, such as Costco, Target, and Walmart to name a few. A brand new shopping mall will be opening up very soon. It’s called Ka Makana Ali’i. It will be an open style mall much like Ala Moana mall. They promise to have a diversity of over 150 shops and restaurants and two hotels. They plan to be open by Fall of 2016. With all the great places and things to do around Kapolei, once this mall is fully Opened, there will be no reason to ever leave. Thanks for reading. See you at the theater!
